Fruit’s Square
Locally known as Trg brace Radic, this square was once a centre of business as women from the surrounding areas used to come here to sell their fruits. Although you will be hardly able to located fruits over here today, this square still holds its old charm and buzzes with several shops and points of interest such as the Venetian Castello and tower, both of which were constructed in 1435. On the northern side of the square, you can see the Milesi Palace, one of the best examples of Baroque architecture in Dalmatia. This square is also home to the famous statue of Marko Marulic, a literary figure of Croatia, also known as the „Father of the Croatian Renaissance.“
